Cuban Joe Cigars are handrolled cigars by Master Cuban Cigar Roller Jose Perez. Jose Perez was born in Camaguey, Cuba, and was the only boy among four children. His father was in the military and his mother was a midwife. At the age of twelve, Jose began going to the cigar factory next to his school during recess and after school. He was fascinated with cigars, and he enjoyed watching and learning from the old men. He has never looked back.

Jose Perez came to Florida in 1980 where he continued to roll cigars for various companies. When Jose visited Texas during a cigar show tour, he found that Texans loved cigars and tipped well, so he decided to move here in 1997. Since being in the United States, Jose has rolled cigars for Bill Cosby, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Alex Rodriguez, and Chuck Norris to name a few.
