Glory House Catering is a Blue Ribbon Catering company that has been in business since 2000. By popular demand, Glory House is now opening for lunch. Located in the Heritage District of downtown Irving, Glory House will provide a great atmosphere and easy in and out lunch buffet.
According to Wikipedia, The word bistro may derive from the Russian word bystro which means quickly. According to an urban legend, it entered the French language during the Russion occupation of Paris in 1815. Russian cossacks who wanted to be served lunch quickly would shout "bystro." Glory House Catering has dubbed their Irving restaurant Glory House Bistro.
Glory House Bistro will be opening for lunch on November 3, 2009. The Bistro will be open Tuesday through Friday each week from 11 Am to 2 Pm. The Bistro will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Glory House Bistro is closed on the weekends to accommodate weekly weddings at Receptions on The Main.
All lunch menus are freshly prepared. The lunches will consist of at least two entrees, several sides, delicious slow rise yeast rolls and a salad bar. The lunch menu will change daily and the menu can be found on line at www.gloryhousecatering.com. You can visit the website and plan your lunch schedule for the month. The lunch atmosphere is relaxing, clean and elegant.
Menus will include delicious slow roasted brisket with Aujus, the famous Maria's chicken, chicken Cordon Bleu, marinated pit ham, assorted pastas and lasagnas....just to name a few! The SALAD BAR will also be available each day with a variety of fresh salads and toppings. Have iced tea, water, soft drinks or coffee and top it all off with a delicious DESSERT MENU.
