Yesterday's Leadership Skills Are in Need of a Transformation

Frustrated workers

Are you aware of this?

Yesterday’s leadership skills created this problem … (Gallup)

  • 27% of employees are actively engaged in their jobs.  (They are fired up and full of spirit)
  • 54% of employees are not engaged in their jobs – (they are switched off- they have lost their  spirit).
  • 19% are actively disengaged – (they are tuned out)

Can you believe it actually costs the American economy $300 billion a year for those employees who just don't seem to care?

A major transformation is needed in Leadership traits. Leaders who are aware are asking some all important questions:

  • What type of leadership development is necessary to be a great leader in this recession?
  • Is there a particular leadership behavior that is required?
  • Do I have the necessary leadership qualities and skills needed once we are out of the recession?
