Cory Gilbert began training in Shaolin Kung Fu in January of 2002. After several years of training and hard work he became an Assistant Instructor. Mr. Gilbert was recognized in both 2004 & 2006 with awards for excellence in "Martial Arts dedication and Ability". On May 20th 2006 Mr. Gilbert received
his 1st degree black belt in the Northern and Southern style of Shaolin Kung Fu certifired by the Taipei Chinese Kung Fu Association, U.S.A. Mr. Gilbert is currently pursuing his Masters degree in accounting from the University of North Texas. He is a Black
Belt Board Member and Instructor as well as a member of the Shaolin Wu-Yi Institute Demonstration Team.
