DALLAS, Texas, May 1, 2008—Phillip Crum is the new owner of the Sir Speedy located at 10017 Monroe Drive in Dallas, where the center has been serving customers for twenty-five years. Prior to purchasing the business, Crum had worked for another Sir Speedy franchise owned by Jim Quinn in the Addison area for more than fourteen years as a salesperson. Crum’s sons, Preston and Tyler, have joined him in the business as full-time partners.
“Purchasing this business is a dream come true for me,” said Crum. “The opportunity to build a business with my family that my sons can one day take over and provide for their families is living the American dream. We look forward to continuing to serve the Dallas community and helping more small and medium-sized companies with all of their printing and marketing support needs.”
Phillip Crum was the recent, first recipient of the Don F. Lowe Salesperson of the Year Award from Franchise Services, Inc., the parent company of Sir Speedy. Prior to this award, he received ten Top Performer awards and was an inaugural member and 4-time recipient of the salesperson Million Dollar Club Award.
Phillip’s son, Preston, recently graduated from the Sir Speedy Print Management University, an intensive two-week training program for all Sir Speedy franchisees and their staff. Held at the corporate offices of Sir Speedy, Inc. in Mission Viejo, California, the program covers employee management, production management, financial management and marketing. It also provides the opportunity to network with other owners in the franchise network and meet the Sir Speedy corporate support team that helps each franchise center develop and grow their business.
