Indianapolis, IN - January 11, 2007 - Today, the Henry County Community Foundation increased services to donors as well as those seeking scholarships and community grants through a brand new website. Having given more than $7.5 million, it has been a key player in the surrounding communities for more than 20 years. The Henry County Community Foundation's new logo and new website represent its growth and positive movement into the future.
The new website and logo, both designed by SpinWeb Internet Media, Inc., give the Foundation another reason to be proud. With the ability to add and update web pages, press releases, and events, staff members now have a convenient avenue to connect caring donors with causes that matter, while looking professional and remaining up to date.
This website features a unique point and click map which displays recent grant recipients from the Unrestricted Fund for Community Grants in communities throughout Henry County. Grant seekers will find grant guidelines, applications, report form and TASC (Teens About Serving the County) Youth Grant Committee information including a recent grantee listing. Visitors to www.henrycountycf.org can sign up to receive e-newsletters to remain current on Foundation opportunities and read success stories of grantees, donors and scholarship winners.
The new site also offers an easy way for students to search for scholarships in the new Scholarship Matrix and for prospective donors to give through an online donation form. Memorial gifts as well as honorary donations for birthdays, anniversaries, service to organizations or any special occasion can be made online as well. These new capabilities make it easy and convenient to recognize a loved one, co-worker or special friend.
The Annual Report, which contains a list of existing funds, donors, grantees, photographs and stories is also available online in the About section under Publications. The Donor section contains beneficial ways to give and explains the extensive variety of fund types available to prospective donors interested in starting a fund.
