SPLASH MEDIA WINS LONE STAR EMMY FOR DR. BROWN’S PHOTOSHOP

Dallas – June 2, 2008 – Splash Media, LP, an innovator in digital video publishing and
internet television captured the prestigious Lone Star Emmy for Excellence in
Informational and Instructional Programming for its production of Dr. Brown’s
Photoshop Laboratory at the recent Advanced Media Awards.
 
Steven T. Miller and Brian Shelton collaborated to direct the award winning show,
starring Adobe System’s senior creative director Russell Brown. Brown, a Photoshop Hall
of Fame winner,  brings his wacky persona of a zany, mad scientist to life as he delivers on-target
Adobe Photoshop instruction. In addition to Dr. Brown’s Photoshop Laboratory, Splash Media
has partnered with Adobe to produce 5 original series which are featured exclusively on Adobe
TV. 
 
Miller is an award-winning director, writer, and editor with over 20 years of experience
in a wide variety of film productions. A founding partner in Film Xero, Steve quickly
developed a niche in the music video world, producing, directing, and editing over 100
music videos from every major record label. Steve served as a governor on The Texas
Board of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. His corporate credits
include projects for TXU, Pier 1, Nokia, Ford, GM, Red Baron, and a 360-degree project
for Pennzoil featuring Jay Leno. Recently, he directed infomercials for ICON Fitness and
Disney’s Buena Vista Datacasting, and has contributed his filmmaking skills to
marketing pieces for CopyCraft, Docucorp, and Hasbro. 
 
Shelton has over 15 years of experience in television production spanning all areas of live
and pre-recorded television programming. His experience includes live sports, news,
corporate training, business television, infomercials, and cable television programs. His
broadcast, cable, and private network clients include ABC, ESPN, Fox Sports, Cox,
Comcast, Primedia, Interactive Medical Network, National Dental Network, and
Broadcast New Corp. His Fortune 500 clients include Oracle, Cisco, Ernest & Young,
Pfizer, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Verizon, General Motors, IBM, Intel, and many more.
