Ladainian Tomlinson TCU portrait from “TCU Legacy Collection” FREE offer

LaDainian Tomlinson TCU legend has been honored through a newly commissioned portrait within  a collection of fine art portraits depicting six legendary players and coaches of the TCU football program has been unveiled. Sportfolio Group created the collection including LaDainian Tomlinson TCU running back  in conjunction with the athletic department at TCU. The original oil paintings will be received by TCU and displayed on campus at a yet-to-be-determined location.

For a limited time, Sportfolio Group is offering a free 24” x 18” numbered giclee archival paper print for free with a regular order of a 20” x 16” stretched canvas print.

The subjects for the paintings were selected by TCU  for the 2008 season-long recognition. The five players and one coach depicted include Davey O’Brien, Sammy Baugh, Bob Lilly, Jim Swink, LaDainian Tomlinson and Coach “Dutch” Meyer. Sportfolio Group was awarded the honor of painting a special collection of portraits of these athletes who have brought fame and glory to TCU football over the years.
 
Sportfolio Group will offer limited edition giclee prints of the collection with a percentage of the proceeds going to TCU. This unique LaDainian Tomlinson TCU legendary running back action painting were painted by Sportfolio Group artist, Craig Gould. Each painting has been faithfully reproduced as 20" x 16" giclee prints stretched on canvas in a limited edition of 250.

LaDainian Tomlinson TCU running back led the NCAA for the second time in 2000 with 2,158 yards, 22 touchdowns and 354 yards receiving. In that senior season he also won the Doak Walker Award as the nation's best running back, and was a finalist for the Heisman, but came in fourth. LaDainian Tomlinson completed his college career with 5,263 rushing yards, ranking sixth in NCAA Division I history.

TCU retired LaDainian Tomlinson’s jersey number (5) in November 2005. In December of that year, LaDanian Tomlinson TCU legend fulfilled a promise to his mother by earning his degree in communications from TCU.

LaDainian Tomlinson TCU legend was picked 5th overall in the 2001 draft by the San Diego Chargers.That pick was rewarded in many ways including his being named the NFL's MVP in the 2006-2007 season. Additionally that year, LaDanian Tomlinson won the NFL’s  Man of the Year Award. He became only the second player to win both awards in the same season; Walter Payton, for whom the Man of the Year Award is named, won both awards in 1977.

“LT,” as LaDainian Tomlinson TCU running back is known by his legion of fans around the world, had yet another stellar season on the field in 2007. LaDainian Tomlinson became the first player since Edgerrin James in 1999 and 2000 to lead the NFL in rushing in back-to-back years. While his 1,474 yards were good enough to claim the second rushing title of his career, it was only LaDanian Tomlinson’s fourth-highest single-season total. LaDainian Tomlinson’s 15 rushing touchdowns were also a league best.
