The Stark Museum of Art will have evening viewing hours for its special exhibition Angels in Art: Illuminated Manuscripts from the Stark Collection on Thursday, November 29, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.The exhibition features seven Books of Hours, beautifully hand-painted manuscripts of the late medieval period. Each book is open this year to an illustration that includes representations of angels, a theme that relates the Stark Museum of Art's exhibition to the City of Orange's holiday theme of angels. During the evening hours on the 29th the public will also be able to visit the special exhibition The Artist's Hand: The Art of Nicolai Fechin and the lobby area with Museum Store.The day marks the 29th anniversary of the Stark Museum of Art, which first opened to the public on November 29, 1978. Located at 712 Green Avenue, Orange, Texas, the Stark Museum of Art is open to the public at no charge Tuesday through Saturday. Hours are from 10 am-5 pm.
