The Laserlux CEN mobile retoreflectometer collects data quickly by using high-speed data acquisition electronics software, which measures out precise angle settings of illumination and observation – the Laserlux can take over 1150 measurements per hour. The system uses a GPS data logging system that coincides with data to tell the user exactly where and what the reflectivity will be in a certain area. The data is then used to determine which areas need to be restriped and which ones do not.
