Studio Movie Grill University, NOW ENROLLING!

Students from SMU, UNT, and UTA will assemble at Studio Movie Grill locations in Arlington, Dallas, and Lewisville for a serious course in Film, Food, and Fun on September 4, 2008, at 10pm.  Each location will feature a student film maker before the regularly scheduled feature presentation.  Students will learn the value of “All you can eat Pizza,” and student ticket prices.

 The University of Arlington SFVU will feature “Schadenfreude,” winner of the 2008 24 Hour Video Race, College category at the Studio Movie Grill in Arlington.  “Schadenfreude” by Aaron Holloway is about a man, who in a twist of fate in a bowling alley finds out what it will cost him to have the key to saving a woman’s life.  A special menu starring Blazing Buffalo Tenders, The Mavs Southwestern Wrap, and a Mavs Margarita will be available.

University of North Texas RTVF will feature two alumni filmmakers with “VINYL,” produced by Casey Barteau and directed by Richard Card at the Studio Movie Grill Lewisville.  The special menu will feature Chips and Mean Green Spinach Artichoke Dip, North Texas Chicken Tenders, and a Mean Green Margarita.

Southern Methodist University Film Department will also feature a student film.  The special menu spotlights the "Big D" Crispy Southwestern Chicken Salad, a Mega Mustang Burger, and a Mustang Margarita. 

The feature presentation at all locations will be “College,” a hilarious romp of a film about three high school seniors who visit a local college campus as prospective freshmen.  All locations will offer “All you can eat Pizza” for $8.99 a person.
