Catholic Speaker Saab Talks to University Students

"Success in life and business begins by focusing on death." Those were the words of Catholic Speaker Tarek Saab to a packed room of 250 students from Illinois St. and Illinois Wesleyan University on Thursday, November 1st. Mr. Saab is a former contestant on NBC's The Apprentice 5, CEO of Lionheart Apparel, and author of GUT CHECK: Confronting Love Work and Manhood in Your Twenties.

The speech was part of program sponsored by the Bellarmine Neumann center for both campuses, which is dedicated to fostering stronger Catholic identity amongst its student populations.

Mr. Saab went on to explain, "If we don't focus on our ultimate end goal, then we are missing the point altogether."

Students walked away from the speech with high praise. "He is amazing. So impressive. He gave me a lot to think about," said one glowing student, who paused afterward to snap a picture with the former TV star.

Many of the students will see Tarek Saab again in January as one of the speakers for the FOCUS National Leadership Conference.
