Paula Grissom has extensive Strategic Marketing, Brand Management, Communications and Advertising experience in packaged goods, national restaurant and foodservice industries plus non-profit. She brings to the table precision strategic marketing in addition to communications and advertising capabilities. Paula’s client-side experience sets her apart from most because she understands the client’s perspective based on real experience.
She facilitates strategy sessions and develops strategic plans all the way through the communications and advertising process. She believes that a strategic marketing roadmap is necessary before investing valuable client time and money into communications and advertising. In order to meet business objectives and obtain measurable results, it is critical to “start at the top of the page.”
Paula has worked as Director of Business Consulting and Multi-channel Strategies for one of the largest non-profits in the U.S., the American Heart Association. There she directed the marketing, program development and launch of its $12 million Integrated Communications System for health and behavioral modification. She also directed development of several topical health information sites. Prior to AHA, she was Vice President of Marketing for Black-eyed Pea Management Corporation for 14 years, overseeing marketing and advertising for four restaurant concepts managing a $13 million budget. Her restaurant marketing includes Black-eyed Pea, Taco Bueno, Crystal’s Pizza & Spaghetti, Casa Bonita, Pizza Inn, Rigatoni’s Italian Restaurant, and Chisholm Trail Steakhouse. Her agency experience includes Bloom Advertising and INN Advertising at the account director level. Most recently, her clients include B2B and B2C in areas of financial lending, online fundraising, website development, e-marketing, non-profit membership acquisition, and crisis management.
