HORNBECK
Hornbeck Offshore is a major provider of new-generation offshore supply vessels (OSVs) serving the oil and gas industry, primarily in the Gulf of Mexico and in select international markets. The company focuses on complex exploration and production activities. Hornbeck is also a leading transporter of petroleum products via tugs and tank barges, primarily in the Northeastern United States and Puerto Rico. BUSINESS CHALLENGE
If a port’s piers become too crowded and cluttered, efficiency at the facility is impaired. Hornbeck faced a comparable problem on the electronic level.
- Piles of boxes: Mailbox stores needed to be reduced and storage centralized.
