So what I’ll do here is show you guys real quickly, how Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) actually takes that data, flattens it and how it actually creates a Star Schema. So here you can see Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) has actually taken the ledgers table, or the basic table, that houses all of the metrics and it has made it the actual fact table and has taken all of the dimensions around it and has made the connection for you, so you have to do no mapping and modeling with importing a Hyperion Essbase cube, it automatically does it for you. A different look, here you can see the three arrows are that also creates the hierarchies for you as well, directly from Hyperion Essbase.
