The W.H. Stark House was home to William Henry and Miriam Lutcher Stark, who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique decorative objects. Today, visitors may explore and experience their fully restored 1894 Victorian home, discovering the outstanding lifestyle of the east Texas timber family. The 14,000-square-foot home appears much as it did in the 1920s with fifteen rooms of original family furnishings and decorative art objects. Group tours are available by reservation. Admission is $5 with a $3 discount for students 10-18 and seniors 65 and over. Stairs are an essential part of tour.
