Our e-learning specific instructional course designers work with clients to take existing content from classroom training, such as PowerPoint presentations, videos of classroom training or other, and turn those courses into certified online classes. Each course is designed around 4 main steps:
1. Pre-testing - rates each students proficiency in course material prior to testing to allow student to either "test" out of the course or to present students with their current level of proficiency of materials.
2. Training - uses video, Macromedia Flash or other interactive training methods to train students in upcoming course material prior to taking test.
3. Testing - provides students with timed courses designed for e-learning delivery. Students are presented with randomized questions and multiple "weighted" answers or other interactive methods to insure the highest level of proficiency testing.
4. Tracking Student Performance - each student is measured by overall course mastery, performance vs. overall group, or by unit or segment mastery. During actual testing, a student's time on each question, section or module is tracked for even greater insight.
Highly Automated
Once a course is created in the University of the Net, each level of administration is automated to allow ease of use and tracking of student performance.
Students can enter a code or "token" provided either during registration or pre-loaded directly into system by an administrator.
There are several methods available to register students for specific courses and to provide requirements to pass each module or unit before moving forward in specific courses.
Students testing results are automatically captured into database for review online or downloading by administrator.
Student testing results can be auto emailed to administartor(s), student or other instantly upon course completion. These emails can be configured to instantly send students online "certificates" once a course is completed. Each email can be customized with graphic and other important links upon passing a specific course or unit.
