The first attraction you'll visit on your first full day inEgypt is the Great Pyramids of Giza. Your visit includes tours of the Pyramid of Khufu and the Sphinx, two of the most renowned and anticipated tourist destinations in the country. You'll then travel on to tour the ancient city of Memphis and its vast burial grounds, the necropolis Sakkara. Here you'll view the striking third dynasty Step Pyramid of the Pharaoh Djoser.
You'll have the opportunity to explore the city of Cairo the following day, including the Egyptian National Museum. The Museum features over 120,000 objects including statues, jewelry, games sculptures, wall decorations, tomb equipment and much more. You'll also tour Old Cairo and the Citadel which houses several museums, ancient mosques and other attractions. Your tour of Cairo will include a visit to the Khan el Khalili Bazaar and other attractions, as well.
Next, you'll travel on to Luxor and enjoy a spectacular evening Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple. In Luxor, you'll board the MS Tu-Ya and spend four nights cruising the majestic Nile River.
