“While Texas has been our home for a long time, this expansion will allow us to service the South Texas market with greater focus,” said Rob Rash, president of Rash & Associates.
The opening will be run by new hire, Kevin Begnaud. Mr. Begnaud started his career with Easley, McCaleb & Associates as a manager, and then moved to Deloitte in 1994 as senior manager. After spending nine years with Deloitte, he began working with O’Connor & Associates as their business development director.
Prior to joining the Rash & Associates team, he was regional vice president with Burr Wolff in Houston. Mr. Begnaud brings over 15 years of in-depth property tax experience to the Rash & Associates team.
“The addition of Kevin Begnaud and the opening of our Houston office will allow us to expand and strengthen our services to our real estate clients in that market,” said Rash.
Mr. Begnaud specializes in complex appeal services, including real and personal property valuation and negotiation. His work will also focus on developing and maintaining new and existing business throughout the South Texas area.
A native Texan, Mr. Begnaud earned his business administration degree in marketing with an emphasis on real estate in 1986. He holds his CMI designation and is a speaker/instructor for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
