Web design and consulting. Healthy Healing is based out of California, where they sell a multitude of herbal and natural healing products, news and services through traditional and Internet based avenues.
Problem Encountered
In 2003, Healthy Healing realized a primary source of huge revenues and recognition was not being taken advantage of - the Internet. Their original web site design, layout and functionality were not competing with the competition’s web sites. Users were just not liking what they saw when they visited their web site.
Our Solution
We re-designed their web site to better communicate their product, their services and their company guarantee to their target audience. We approached the project in sections. Reorganizing the layout and navigation structure enabled a three click buying process for the user, which eliminated the over cumbersome buying process from before. Healthy Healing’s web site was not just an e-commerce catalog for natural herbal remedies, books and Wellness programs, it was meant to be a Healthy Healing portal to the natural way of living. Dr. Linda Page is the spokesperson and brand behind the company. What made this series of projects successful was organizing and re-visualizing the mass of content that needed to be displayed. There were different strategies for every section of the web site, including the strategy of promoting Dr. Linda Page as much as possible. Therefore, we had to clearly distinguish each section with its own identity, but not enough to lose the strength of the overall Healthy Healing message.
Results
We successfully tied everything together but gave enough uniqueness to every section. To date, Healthyhealing.com is a well respected and successful Internet venture. http://www.healthyhealing.com
