Successful Start Up Financing

One of the many things that makes America so great is the fact that anyone of her people can start a business and achieve freedom and financial prosperity. This is in fact, the American Dream. All too often though, this dream becomes a nightmare when the individual with the knowledge, drive, and passion does not have the funds, no matter how small an amount, to start their endeavor off correctly.

The first thing that most do is go to friends and family. Once that well is found to be dried up, they go to their local banker, next they look for angel investors and finally venture capital partners. More often than not, the banks will not lend on start up endeavors, as they deem them too risky. Angel investors take months to locate if one could be found that would actually do the deal and venture capitalists are those individuals with deep pockets that are looking to grab 30% or more of an individuals businesses profit for the life of their business (not a good deal at all for the person looking to start their own business).

What is almost always looked over is obtaining unsecured lines of business credit for their new venture. If they have a good credit score, they can create a business entity and have credit lines added to this entity, so that they have the necessary funds to start their business. This type of set up is fast, no documentation needed and you can have as much as $100,000 in a matter of weeks.

Many times, the person with good credit has been working as a sole proprietor and has not formed an actual business entity. This is no problem either as you can get the funds based on being a sole proprietor. There are companies that create entities for individuals for next to nothing as well and have everything filed with the state, so that they can receive immediate funding. The bottom line here is that if a person has the desire and the drive, IT CAN HAPPEN.

Finally, that desire and drive may be connected to an individual that has less than perfect credit. This does not stop a person either. They can easily step into a specialized program that will clean up their credit, remove their inquiries, and negotiate their debt and clear it off of their files.

People that have the desire to live the American Dream should not let anything stop them. They should take advantage of the ease at which they can obtain lines of credit, start an entity, or clean up their credit files. They should start today and not look back.
